Caring Heart Thrift Store
The Caring Heart Thrift Store is located at 165 North Main Street in Arab, Alabama, 35016. We know there are more than a dozen thrift stores in our area which may have you asking, "why should I donate to your store" or "why should I shop at your store?" The answer to both questions is this: we focus on providing quality merchandise at a great price to help support our programs for local teens and local seniors. The money we raise stays in our community for the benefit of the people around you. Donations come from churches, businesses and neighbors who are looking to make a difference with items they no longer use (or never used).
Our Thrift Store provides on-the-job training and work experience for employees, volunteers, and community service workers. Donors can have confidence the funds raised from their donations will be put to good use to help others who are not able to afford items at retail prices or who prefer to "thrift" as an ethical choice. No matter if you are on a budget, or just love the thrill of "thrifting," we would love to see you! If you just want to come to visit, we welcome you to browse, meet up with friends, or to just reach out to one of us to ask for prayers for whatever you have going on in your life.
Our Thrift Store has a wide variety of merchandise to include clothing, shoes, household items, kitchen items, crafting supplies, furniture, toys, pet supplies and holiday items. The store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed for sales on Wednesdays, but you can still drop off donations on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
If you would like to donate to the Thrift Store, please drop off all items during normal business hours so they are protected from theft and vandalism. We do not offer pick-ups.
