Partnership Programs For Church and Business Friends
In addition to support from individuals, we have partnership programs designed specifically for churches and businesses that are vital not only helping us help people in our community, but also toward raising awareness for Caring Heart Outreach, Inc. and the role we play in Marshall County and surrounding areas. If you are interested in learning more about any of our programs, please reach out using the contact form on this page so we can connect.
Handfuls of Purpose
The Handfuls of Purpose Program is a partnership opportunity between Caring Heart Outreach, Inc. and our local churches. It takes a lot of time to sort, clean, and prepare items to be sold in our Thrift Store. If the items we receive are unfit for use, that takes away time and resources that could be used to help others and serve our communities. The Handfuls of Purpose Program encourages attendees of our partner churches to be intentional about donating their gently used household items to our organization while weeding out broken items, items with missing parts, or items that are not in good condition and really cannot be sold. This program is designed to equip churches with resources to make a difference and help the church increase its ability to help others with vouchers for essentials, without taking funding from the church. In order to participate in this program, a church is asked to make a one-year commitment to partner with our organization. Our outreach then returns gift cards to your church to help struggling individuals and families directly in your care. Each quarter, the church will receive a bundle of $25 gift cards at a rate of $5 for each donation made. Church staff can then give those to anyone in need who seeks assistance at their church.
Please contact us if your church is interested in learning more about our Handfuls of Purpose program. We can provide flyers and materials to help share the details of the program with your congregation. We can also provide a speaker to come to your church to share about the program and address any questions in person in addition to sharing information about our other programs and ways to get involved.

Hunger Heroes Food Drive
We have many teens in our area who are without consistent food sources and we have seniors with food insecurity who may be rationing food so they can pay for medication, medical care or other bills. Our Hunger Heroes Program is a partnership opportunity between Caring Heart Outreach, Inc. and our local churches and businesses in which food is donated for our Teen and Senior Food pantries to help us provide much needed food to people right here in our community. This can be done at any time without an ongoing commitment by your organization and you'll know the items you donate will be distributed locally.
Please contact us using the form below before you begin a food drive so we can let you know about our current needs. We will work with you to create any flyers or materials you need to make your food drive successful.

Blue Bag Project
The Blue Bag Project is a partnership opportunity for churches and businesses that is similar to the Hunger Heroes Drive but is related to clothing. It also requires no long-term commitment. We provide you with blue bags to distribute to your church members or employees and you ask them to fill the bag with new or gently used clothing or shoes. This program can be used to encourage a culture of empathy, compassion and generosity by donation of items with lots of life left in them to be sold in our Thrift Store to fund our programs to help people in our community. Businesses can create competition between departments to promote participation and churches can challenge each other to hold drives at the same time to see which church can donate the most blue bags.
Please contact us using the form on this page let us know of your interest in the program and to answer any questions you may have. We can coordinate delivery of the blue bags to your church or business after which we will coordinate for deliver or pick-up of the bags when your drive is over.
