Caring Heart Outreach, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization. It is also a mindset and a culture which seeks to help those in need by harnessing the compassion that already exists in our community. We envision a community where every teen grows up with the confidence, skills, and support to avoid cycles of abuse, addiction, and homelessness, and every senior lives with food security, dignity and care. Our focus is local so you know your donations stay local and your volunteerism is helping your neighbors you likely have never met. Our lead team members are:

Felicia and David Jones, Co-Founders and Directors

Felicia and David have been married 28 years and have three adult children. They created Caring Heart Outreach, Inc. in 2020 as a Higher Calling from God. Details bios for Felicia and David are found here.

Organizations We Support

Caring Heart Outreach provides an annual financial donation to two organizations with missions aligned with ours. We do not participate directly in these organizations and exercise no oversight over how they operate.

Kelley's Rainbow/Domestic Violence Crisis Services is a non-profit organization named after Kelley Rutledge Johnston of Arab, who was killed by her husband in 2000.  This organization not only helps victims get their lives put back together after a domestic violence situation, it offers shelter, assist those needing Protection from Abuse orders (PFAs), participates in court hearings and goes to schools to help students learn to look for signs of domestic violence and when to reach out for help.

Lamplight is a free three week summer program where teens practice leadership and service by running the camp themselves and doing projects for their community. Along the way, campers learn real-world skills and how to live together as a community. The Guntersville session is held in July each year with another session held in Birmingham in June.
